PART 4 OF 5: Ignore the Jonathan Majors $75K dog training rumor

I may be in the minority on this one. Maybe it is because I still want a second season of “Lovecraft Country.” Or, maybe it’s because I 100% understand why Michael B. Jordan picked him for “Creed III,” a movie I’ve watched over 100 times. Or, maybe it is because a woman storming after a man like she's Michael Myers makes it really hard to believe she was in danger.
Unpopular opinion: I still think actor Jonathan Majors is incredibly talented, and I say that in spite of all the domestic violence accusations. I’m usually in the “believe women” crowd, but I’ve yet to be convinced by that woman. While others became instant enemies of his at the height of his career and were baffled that Meagan Good decided to date him, I shrugged. (I like nearly everything on her IMDB page minus that stereotype-filled “Harlem” show.)
Although I followed Majors’ case as it unfolded (and not just people’s court on social media), I have been fairly quiet about the results. And all the gossip blogs writing about Good and Majors seemed like they were trying too hard to find something exciting to write. Besides obviously hoping he is not physically or mentally abusive to women, there is one other recent rumor that made me say, “Please let this one be completely and totally wrong!”
There is a rumor going around that Good was stuck with paying a $75K dog training bill, and I winced as soon as I read it.

I have owned a wild Labrador Retriever mix who knocked over a Christmas tree. I watched my purebred German Shepherd chew up a man's phone number on a piece of paper and swallow it after growling at him for approaching me. And I now have a Dachshund/Hound mix, the former breed consistently said to be the hardest to train. All three had a little bit of crazy in them that needed to be tamed.
And it did not cost $75,000 to train any of these dogs. If this rumor is true and Good is paying five digits to train a dog, then that dog trainer is enjoying two new cars for a job that could be $FRE.EE.
$75,000 to train a dog of any breed is insane — and I’m saying this as someone who sat in a room of 12 pit bulls, one of which sat by my feet.
Here are five ways, ranging from $0 to $200, to have your dog trained.
