Doggone World Bingo: Enjoy your dog adventures
The Bingo game that will make your dog mishaps more fun
The holidays will come and go. If you’re lucky, maybe you got a new puppy in your collection of gifts. Or, maybe you were one of the social isolating families who decided to foster a dog or earlier in the year to make being at home a little more fun. But now that you have this new pup at home, you realize there’s more to dog ownership than playing Fetch and snuggling up against all that fur.
No matter how much dog trainers tell you about positive reinforcement, the importance of dog crates and crate training, and regular exercise, there will be days that your dog will just be plain exhausting. Training won’t happen immediately. Every dog food or dog toy you buy won’t be a hit. You’re dealing with an additional personality who wants to be loved, but (s)he also has a wee bit of a rebellious streak. So the next time your dog does something that leaves you stumped or makes you just want to scream and storm out of the door, consider this Doggone World Bingo game.
If you’re a betting (wo)man, make a game of it with the rest of your family. The first one to spot your dog doing this — without cheating — gets you a point. When you declare “Bingo!” (from real-life experiences, or the traditional way to play Bingo by getting a full row horizontally, vertically or diagonally), the winner doesn’t have to pick up the poop on walks, at home and/or the backyard for the rest of the month. Good luck!
