Happy 2nd Adoption Anniversary to Junee!
Juneteenth is special to me for two reasons: black history and my four-legged roommate
I was trying to find something fun to do for Juneteenth, and a nearby park celebration hadn't started yet so I came to see the creativity of the Artists of the Wall this year. (It's repainted every summer at Tobey Prinz Beach Park.)
Juneteenth is not only important to me because it’s Emancipation Day and a significant part of black history. It's also the day I adopted Junee (hence the reason why her name is her name).

And COMPLETELY ON BRAND, I went to the park to celebrate the adoption anniversary and the artwork, and Junee left with pink and blue chalk all over her butt. I know somebody is going to think I did this to be festive. Nope, it's just Junee getting into something (per usual).
Happy Juneteenth!
