When pets and pollen are competing to make you sneeze
Best tips to avoid allergy season giving you miserable days
Ambetter is one of the most underrated health insurance providers I’ve ever had in my adult life. I’ve had insurance with pretty much everything from Blue Cross and Blue Shield to UnitedHealth to Aetna and beyond, but Ambetter Rewards is why I keep circling back to them. I like watching their health care videos and reading their PDF handouts to make me consciously better at my overall physical and mental health. I also like getting enough points to pay my monthly premiums.

But I had to laugh today when I read one of their recent handouts “Something In the Air?” because there was a line in the health care rundown about staying away from pets if you have seasonal allergies. I immediately pictured my own dog seeing me sitting cross-legged on her dog couch. Instead of sitting next to me, she climbed between my legs, hiked her front paws onto my shoulders and put her cold nose on mine, completely blocking the television in front of me. Personal space is a foreign concept to Junee. And I don’t mind. If you have super affectionate dogs and seasonal allergies, you know separation isn’t going to happen.
