11 FAQs with a Black Girl In a Doggone World™

From dog supplies to how I got over my fear of dogs, here are Shamontiel's answers about being a dog owner and dog walker

In 2023, I created a bunch of videos to showcase on Instagram. But those who know me well know it is as easy for me to delete social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) as it is to change phone numbers (ongoing joke among my family since 2001).

But I was actually sad that I lost a collection of videos I’d recorded for an FAQ series — that is, until I found out that this old TikTok account is still active. Why is it still active? I locked myself out of it after closing a Gmail address. (This is so on brand for me.) To my absolute delight, I can now share these videos on Substack. For my dog owners, dog sitters, dog boarders, dog walkers and dog lovers, I hope at least one of these is helpful to you. Enjoy!
