I love dogsitting Jackie because she and Junee are polar opposites. And when these two decide to be united, it’s to ignore me or whisper to each other like gossip girls. I wish I had filmed a Zoom meeting that same week. In the middle of the meeting, Junee stood at the edge of the couch. Jackie then took that as an opportunity to leap on her back and ride her around like a cowgirl. Meanwhile, I’m trying to have a serious business conversation while seeing this rodeo reflecting in my camera monitor. Good times.
Shamontiel is a dog lover to her core: 632 completed walks with 101 dogs, eight dog-housesittings and six dog boardings at the time of this publication.
